පසුගිය දවස් වල එක දිගටම WSO2 Carbon release එකට වැඩ කරල පොඩි විවේකයක් හම්බවුනා. අපේ අලුත්ම product එක ගැන ගොඩක් විස්තර මගෙ technical blog එකෙන් බලාගන්න පුලුවන්. මේ කියන්න හදන්නෙ ඒක ගැන නෙවි.

Clarence unplugged with Marians - A memorable musical tribute

Last sunday Thushari and myself were able to spend two hours filled with fantastic rhythm at BMICH. It was 'Clarence unplugged' concert, yes! it was truly unplugged. Marians, one of the leading bands on the Sri Lankan musical scene went unplugged with more than 30 songs originally sung by great musician, Clarence Wijewardana. It was truly an unforgettable moment.
Marians made sure to maintain the original quality of songs by using acoustic guitars, jazz drums, melodica etc.
They played some nice songs of Clarence which are not frequently heard, eg:- kiri sude sele, namal aye

‘Clarence’ songs are touchy and simple. Most of them were composed using 3 chord patterns. The acoustic guitarists of Marians band nicely strummed and finger-picked to improve the beauty of original songs. You should be able to watch the whole concert since they are planning to do a DVD release soon

Welcome to my entertainment blog

Some of my technical blog readers requested me to move the post about guitar tabs to a separate blog. So, I thought to maintain a different blog which will be dedicated to my random thoughts and mostly the entertainment stuff.

Why a separate blog

This blog does not contain any of the technical, QA, web services materials. You can find those information on my tech blog.
This will primarily be focused on music. Specially sinhala music, coz I believe the classical sinhala music is a cure for the problems we are experiencing in our daily schedules, stress etc.
I'm planning to add some guitar tabs here, however I'll make sure those will not be duplicated with the chords available in http://chords.orgfree.com/, which is the ultimate reference for any sinhala song.
